Frankie Snider
Psychotherapist & EMDR Clinician
I am a Metis woman and mother of one adult son, with over 20 years in counselling and mental health. During this time, I have gained extensive experience working with trauma, identity, sexuality, non-monogamy, anxiety, depression, acute mental health issues and addictions.
Trained as a systemic therapist through the Masters of Marriage and Family Therapy program with the University of Winnipeg and EMDR Clinician through EMDRIA, I am committed to continued learning and growth as a practitioner.
When not in session, I can be found running , lifting heavy things or hanging with my family and furry friends. Though no longer a practicing personal trainer, I continue to have a passion for movement and supporting others to heal their bodies, spirits and minds.
My Approach
I am an integrative practitioner, tailoring my approach to meet the healing needs of each individual, relationship and family that I work with. Creating a safe space for self exploration and self-compassion is a priority in my practice. Through a systemic and attachment-based lens, my practice is influenced by the following:
EMDR
Narrative Therapy
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Satir
